New Kia Seltos 2026 Launch Update: Kia has unveiled the 2026 Seltos in a second-generation guise. The Seltos compact SUV, which is Kia's first product for India, has now arrived with a redesigned exterior and an overhauled cabin, in addition to new features. The model's four broad trim levels (HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX) are spread across three engine options, including a turbo-petrol and a diesel. Customers can also choose from add-on packages, including Convenience, Premium, ADAS, and X-Line Design. Let's take a closer look at each of the parameters:

2026 Kia Seltos: Adopts New Design Language

Starting off, the new Seltos gets design elements that mimic the brand's global design language, including a new digital 'Tiger Face' with metal accents, complemented by LED projector headlamps with a welcome function, and Star Map LED DRLs with integrated turn signals. Along the sides, the Seltos features automatic door handles and sporty 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, Kia offers Star Map LED connected tailamps, an integrated roof spoiler, and tall vertical LED DRLs. Both front and rear ends also get chunky skid plates with a metal finish. On offer are 10 single-tone colourways, including Magma Red and Morning Haze.

2026 Kia Seltos: Dimensions

Compared to the older Seltos, the all-new Seltos is 4,460mm (95mm longer) in length, the longest in the segment. It also features a 2,690mm-long wheelbase, resulting in roomier interiors and improved stability.

2026 Kia Seltos: Engine Options

Under the hood, the all-new Kia Seltos gets three 1.5-litre engine options: a 113bhp naturally aspirated petrol, a 158bhp turbo-petrol, and a 113bhp diesel. Gearbox options include manual, iMT, CVT, and torque converter automatic.

2026 Kia Seltos: Features, Safety Suite

On the inside, the new Seltos features an EV9-like 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display (a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a 5.0-inch head-up display), wireless connectivity, a double D-cut steering wheel in a dual-tone finish, and leatherette seats. There is also a 10-way powered seat with lumbar support, along with ventilated front seats and 60:40 split rear seats with a recline function. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof, an 8-speaker Bose system, a 'Boss' mode, and smart key proximity unlock also form part of the package. The trunk capacity is rated for 447 litres.

Safety-wise, the Kia Seltos gets 6 airbags, ABS, hill start assist, all disc brakes, rear occupant alert, an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2+ ADAS with 28 features such as adaptive cruise control and blind-spot detection. The vehicle additionally comes with a highway driving assist, navigation-based smart cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors.

2026 Kia Seltos: India Launch Details

The all-new Kia Seltos will launch in India on January 2 next year. Bookings for the model open tonight at 12 pm, with deliveries to begin in mid-January. The model will take on the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Tata Sierra, and more.
