Tata Nexon-Maruti Suzuki Victoris Crash Video: Watch
Unlike the Bharat and Global NCAP crash tests assessing the vehicle's safety in a controlled environment, the video highlights how modern safety features perform in real-world scenarios, with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara sustaining minor damage to its bumper, fender, and headlamp. Surprisingly, no structural harm was reported. On the other hand, the Tata Nexon's right-front section is severely damaged, with impact affecting the bumper, headlamp assembly, fender, and fog lamps. The driver-side front wheel is also compromised, notably given Tata's reputation for durability.

Tata Nexon-Maruti Suzuki Victoris Crash Video: Observations
The collision between the Tata Nexon and the Maruti Suzuki Victoris highlights the efficacy of modern safety engineering, with both vehicles demonstrating robust structural integrity. The Victoris' rear-end showed minimal deformation, while the Nexon's front end absorbed significant impact, engaging crumple zones effectively. Moreover, both SUVs maintained passenger cabin structure, underscoring the resilience of their safety cells.
Both the Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Victoris SUVs are 5-star safety-rated SUVs, with impressive scores from Global NCAP: the former (Feb. 2024: 32.22/34 adult, 44.52/49 child) and the latter (September 2025: 33.72/34 adult, 41/49 child). While the Nexon seen in the video is the pre-facelift model, Tata's bestseller has consistently secured 5-star safety ratings across both pre-facelift and facelift versions, demonstrating its robust safety credentials.
