Tata Sierra Mileage:  The 2026 Kia Seltos was launched in India in January 2026, and it has garnered significant media attention ever since. The fuel efficiency figures of the Kia Seltos were recently announced. The Tata Sierra is a direct competitor of the Kia Seltos in the Indian market, and it has also received good demand from consumers in the last few months. However, do you know which one of the two SUVs is more fuel-efficient? Let’s take a look.

2026 Kia Seltos: Mileage

The 2026 Kia Seltos ARAI fuel efficiency ranges between 15.6 km/l and 19.4 km/l. The Kia Seltos HTE variant with a diesel manual transmission returns the highest mileage of 19.4 kilometres per litre, whereas the Kia Seltos HTE (O) variant with a turbo petrol engine and iMT transmission has the lowest ARAI-claimed mileage of 15.6 km/l. The Kia Seltos Diesel AT has a mileage of 17.8 km/l, while the Kia Seltos Petrol MT and iVT have an ARAI-claimed mileage of up to 16.5 km/l. The Kia Seltos, with its turbo petrol engine and a DCT transmission, has an ARAI-claimed mileage of 17.5 km/l.

Tata Sierra Mileage

After a few days of its launch on November 25, 2026, in India, the brand tested the Tata Sierra at NATRAX Indore, and the SUV got itself into the India Book of Records for maximum fuel efficiency achieved in 12 hours. As per the certified run, the Sierra has registered a mileage of 29.9 km/l with its turbo petrol engine. However, an RTI filed by an X page named Vahan Warta later shared the ARAI-claimed figures. As per the X post, shared by the same page, the ARAI-claimed mileage of the Tata Sierra Hyperion turbo petrol engine stands at 13.5 km/l, whereas the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine remained uncertified, and the Diesel Engine has a claimed mileage of 18.8 km/l.
