Renault Duster 2026 Launch: It's already known that the Renault Duster will make its long-awaited comeback to India's hotly contested mid-size SUV segment on January 26, 2026. The India-bound Duster is expected to arrive with some changes over the third-generation model sold overseas. In the meantime, a fresh set of spy images has emerged online, capturing a camouflaged prototype undergoing final testing on public roads.

Renault Duster 2026 Spotted: Exterior, Interior, Engine

Courtesy of @Gaoutham, the latest spy photos show a near-production prototype hiding its final bodywork under wraps. The test mule looks modern with sleek LED headlamps and Y-shaped LED DRLs. While hidden under covers, the Renault branding is most likely to be featured across the grille. In profile, the model gets C-Pillar-integrated rear door handles similar to those on the global-spec Duster.

Having said that, the India-spec Duster is likely to stand out with its vertically positioned taillamps, as can be seen on the test car, along with a slightly reworked roof-mounted spoiler. Elements, such as a shark-fin antenna, a rear wiper, prominent wheel-arch cladding, and a raked windscreen, are expected to be carried over.

Previous spy shots have hinted at an overhauled interior with a tri-screen layout and a dual-tone theme. The model is also expected to get a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, an Arkamys 3D sound system, 6 airbags, seatbelt reminders, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.

Under the hood, the new Duster is likely to be offered with a petrol powertrain setup. The setup should comprise a 155bhp, 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol mill, mated to either a manual gearbox or a CVT. Renault might, however, bring a strong hybrid setup, including a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine paired with dual motors, at a later date.

Renault Duster 2026: Price

With the 2026 Duster, Renault could target a range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. The CMF-B platform-based Duster will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, and other mid-size SUVs. Speaking of, the CMF-B platform will also spawn the Nissan Tekton, which will have styling similar to larger Nissan SUVs
