2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift:  The 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift was launched in India recently. With the launch of the new facelift model, the Tiago EV facelift has become the most affordable electric car in India, as prices for its BaaS (Battery as a Service) version start from Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the 2026 Tata Tiago ICE, the brand’s most affordable ICE offering in the country, is also priced similarly. The 2026 Tiago EV has received several upgrades in terms of its charging capacity, design, and features. The Jagran Hitech team recently got a chance to spend some time with the country’s new most affordable electric car, and here’s our video review for the same. Let’s take a look.

2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift: Exterior

The brand has made several changes to the design of its electric hatchback offering in the country. It gets new eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs with a new set of headlights. The electric iteration of the hatchback gets a closed, body-coloured grille at the front, while the ICE version features a larger black grille at the front. On the sides, newly added 15-inch alloy wheels are visible, while the rear gets a new taillight setup with three vertical slats on each side and a horizontal line passing above them. The taillight seems to be a connected unit, and the brand’s logo is positioned in the centre.

2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift: Features

The 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift has received several changes in terms of its interior, too. The 2026 Tata Tiago comes equipped with dual free-floating screens, and while one of these is used for the Instrument cluster, the other one works as the infotainment system. The previous-generation model of the electric hatchback used an LCD setup for the instrument cluster. Additionally, the 2026 Tiago facelift will also feature a redesigned dashboard, revised door pads, a new front centre armrest, an I-high beam alert, automatic demist, dual-tone black and grey fabric upholstery, a redesigned central console finished in gloss black, two wireless charging pads, and more. The cabin also gets redesigned AC vents, along with rear AC vents and a two-spoke steering wheel.

2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift: Range & Specs

The Tata Tiago EV retains the same battery pack options offered with the previous generation model. The Medium Range (MR) variant continues to be powered by the 19.2 kWh battery pack, whereas the Long Range (LR) variant is powered by a 24 kWh battery pack. The new 2026 Tiago EV has a claimed range of up to 285 km, and the brand claims a real-world range of up to 215 km, once fully charged. The new-generation Tiago EV supports 30 kW of fast charging, and now it can be topped up for 100 kilometres of range in just 18 minutes of charging. The brand is also offering a lifetime warranty on the battery of the Tata Tiago EV.
