2027 Hyundai i20 Facelift:  The 2027 Hyundai i20 facelift is set for its global debut soon. The i20 facelift prototypes have been spied on several occasions. The brand has also been heavily teasing the facelift model of its popular premium hatchback, and it recently teased the interior of the i20 facelift for the first time. The Hyundai i20 was spied completely undisguised for the first time ahead of its global debut. Let’s take a look at the design, expected features, and engine specifications of the 2027 Hyundai i20 facelift.

2027 Hyundai i20 Facelift: Design

The leaked image of the 2027 Hyundai i20 facelift suggests the premium hatchback will feature a slew of exterior changes. The 2027 i20 facelift features a more upright front fascia with Y-shaped LED DRLs that are positioned vertically, with an LED light bar that connects the headlamps and runs across the width of the bonnet. It also features a large grille with a gloss black section in between. The air curtains, finished in black, are now bigger and provide the hatcback with a more aggressive stance. On the sides, a thick black body cladding, a new set of alloy wheels, traditional pull-type door handles, and an OVRM with integrated LED turn signal are visible. While the rear is not visible in the leaked image, the 2027 Hyundai i20 is expected to feature a connecting taillight setup with a prominent bash plate.

2027 Hyundai i20 Facelift: Interior

As mentioned earlier, the brand recently teased the interior of the upcoming 2027 Hyundai i20 facelift. The teaser suggests that the next-gen Hyundai i20 might feature a dual-display setup inside one housing. It could be the same as the new Hyundai Venue, which features a dual-display setup with both of the screens having a size of 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a similarly sized digital instrument cluster. We can also expect a redesigned dashboard, and more premium upholstery materials are also anticipated. We also expect the upcoming next-gen Hyundai i20 to feature a Level 2 ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, a dash cam, and more to enhance occupant safety.

2027 Hyundai i20 Facelift: Engine Specifications

While the 2027 Hyundai i20 facelift is expected to feature a slew of changes in terms of features and design, it will likely remain the same under the hood. The only expected change could be the addition of a new hybrid engine, which will be offered in the international market. For the Indian market, we expect the next-gen Hyundai i20 to continue drawing power from either a 1.2-litre petrol engine or a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine offered with the N-line variant.
