Ajit Pawar Plane Crash:  Ajit Pawar, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister and NCP chief, died in a tragic plane crash today morning. He was flying to Barawati from Mumbai in a Learjet 45 plane operated by VSR Aviation. Four other people, including both pilots and security personnel of the leader, also died in the tragic incident.

Ajit Pawar Plane Crash: The Reason

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that all five passengers on board died in the crash. As per the initial reports from the DGCA, the plane lost its control and became unstable during its final approach to the Baramati Airport. Reportedly, the pilot struggled to control the jet while landing, which resulted in the plan crash on the runway, and the aircraft caught fire immediately. Emergency response teams rushed to the crash site, but all five people on board were declared dead. As per several reports, the plane faced serious technical issues while landing at the Baramati Airport, which resulted in the tragic crash.

Ajit Pawar Plane Crash: Learjet 45XR

The plane involved in the crash was a Learjet 45XR aircraft, which is manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. The Learjet 45XR planes were manufactured by the company between 1998 and 2022. The Learjet 45XR is a mid-size business jet with a per-unit cost of Rs 105 crore. The aircraft has a length of 18 metres, with a range of 3,167 kilometres and a top speed of 858 km/h. The aircraft uses a Garrett TFE731 jet engine, and it has a wingspan of 15 metres.
