Ather 450 Apex: Ather Energy, currently a leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India recently unveiled its new flagship electric scooter, the 450 Apex. Ather Energy has now announced that production of the 450 Apex has commenced, with deliveries set to begin in March 2024. In addition to the 450 Apex, Ather is also working on a new family scooter that is being referred to as the Ather Rizta. However, not a lot of information is available about the upcoming Ather Rizta.

Ather 450 Apex - Performance 

The 450 Apex boasts a top speed of 100 km/h, an increase from the 90 km/h of the 450X. It accelerates from 0-40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds quicker than its predecessor. Ather has claimed that the 450 Apex gets a 13 per cent improvement in initial acceleration and a 30 per cent improvement in acceleration between 40-80 kmph. The PMS electric motor equipped in the Ather 450 Apex now produces a power output of 9.3 bhp, up from 8.5 bhp in the 450X, while peak torque remains at 26 Nm. The 450 Apex introduces a new Warp+ mode, replacing the Warp mode found on the 450X.

Ather 450 Apex - Magic Twist 

Ather has introduced Magic Twist in the 450 Apex, it promises to revolutionize city riding. With Magic Twist, riders can brake by applying negative throttle input, providing 40 per cent more braking force than any other regenerative braking system available in India. This innovation ensures a smoother commuting experience in the city, enhancing control and simplifying maneuvering through traffic. Riders simply need to throttle up to accelerate and throttle down to brake, making it incredibly user-friendly.

Ather 450 Apex - Price

Ather 450 Apex has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the Ather 450 Apex are expected to begin from March 2024 onwards.
