Ather Rizta Details Revealed Ahead Of Official Launch, Check New Features, Expected Price Here

Ather Energy's co-founders, Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain, have unveiled new details about the upcoming Ather Rizta electric scooter in a recent social media video. The Ather Rizta is positioned as a family-oriented electric scooter and is set to introduce several new features. Previously, the manufacturer has confirmed that the scooter will be officially revealed at the Ather Community Day 2024 event on April 6.

Ather Rizta - Features 

The upcoming Ather Rizta boasts a spacious seat which has been a key highlight ever since its announcement. Mehta and Jain hinted at additional features for the Rizta, such as increased storage capacity to complement the larger seat. Currently, the Ather 450X offers 22 litres of under-seat storage, which is notably less than the 34 litres available in the Ola S1 range.

Moreover, the new Ather Rizta will also get notable features such as USB charging and a new smart accessory, although specifics about the accessory have not been disclosed yet. Ather has previously revealed that the Rizta will feature a touchscreen infotainment system and a larger, flatter floorboard. The company will also introduce its latest over-the-air (OTA) update, Ather Stack 6, at the Community Day event. This update will introduce messaging features on the dashboard, along with a new mobile app and other enhancements.

Ather Rizta - Price 

Specific details about the Ather Rizta such as its prices and availability will be revealed at the Ather Community Day 2024 event. However, as per market trends, it is expected that the Ather Rizta will be priced around Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Post its launch, the new Ather Rizta will compete with offerings from TVS, Ola, Bajaj, Honda, and others in the mainstream electric scooter segment.
