Bajaj CNG Bike Launch Date: Bajaj Auto has announced the launch of its highly anticipated CNG motorcycle, set to debut on July 5, 2024. This date is earlier than the previously announced July 17 launch. The event will be attended by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, along with Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto.

Bajaj CNG Bike - Variants & Design  

The new Bajaj CNG bike will be available in multiple variants, giving consumers various options to choose from. Two different versions have already been spotted. One variant features premium elements like a compact windscreen and sleek mirror stems, while the other boasts a rugged design with protective features such as handguards and a sump guard. Both versions come with streamlined exhausts and conventional alloy wheels. It is designed for a comfortable ride as the bike includes an upright riding position, a single-piece handlebar with handguards, mid-positioned foot pegs and a unified seat. 

Bajaj CNG Bike - Features 

Talking about features on the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike, it boasts features such as LED headlights, bulb indicators, a rear grab rail, engine-side leg guards, a sleek black exhaust and a fully digital instrument cluster. The test models were equipped with telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, and a mix of disc and drum brakes, with potential safety features like single-channel ABS or Combi-braking.

Bajaj CNG Bike - Dual-Fuel System 

Spy images have shown that the Bajaj CNG bike has a robust fuel tank supporting a dual-fuel system, allowing seamless switching between petrol and CNG. A conveniently placed switch knob near the rider’s left leg makes fuel switching easy. While specific power figures haven't been disclosed, it's expected that the bike's performance will be similar to models in the 100-150cc range.
