Upcoming Bikes in India: The coming weeks look action-packed for the Indian two-wheeler industry, with a plethora of anticipated launches scheduled from prominent manufacturers such as BMW Motorrad, Hero, and KTM. From adventure tourers to sports bikes, here's an overview of what's coming your way:
BMW F 450 GS
Earlier expected to launch at IBW 2025, the India-spec BMW F 450 GS ADV is likely to make its India debut either in late January 2026 or early February 2026. The upcoming adventure bike will be the entry point to BMW's GS lineup, and heavy localisation will help BMW achieve aggressive pricing. A 47bhp, 420cc parallel-twin engine will be offered, along with a Shift Assistant Pro quickshifter and Easy Ride Clutch. The bike will arrive in multiple variants, including the GS Trophy.

Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr
Brixton Motorcycles will launch its Crossfire 500 Storr ADV this month, likely at IBW 2025. The brand is expected to position the Crossfire 500 Storr above the Crossfire 500X, indicating the Storr could be priced between Rs 5.50 lakh and Rs 5.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike will be available through MotoHaus India. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 rival will be offered with a 486cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which develops 47bhp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm of peak torque at 6,700rpm.
New Hero Mavrick 440
Having discontinued the earlier Mavrick 440 due to poor sales, Hero is believed to bring the updated version in December 2025. Expected updates include a gold-coloured upside-down front fork, a new engine casing, and a round TFT console with Bluetooth. The updates aside, the new version is expected to arrive with a 440cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, developed in partnership with Harley-Davidson. Expect a price increase of Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000 over the previous version (Rs 2.13 lakh to Rs 2.40 lakh, ex-showroom).

KTM RC 390
KTM launched the 2025 390 Duke with reworked mechanicals and tech upgrades in March, but the RC 390 is due to receive an update. Unlike the current iteration that uses a 373cc single-cylinder engine, the new version is likely to share an LC4 engine with the updated 390 Duke. Other expected bits include an RC 8C track bike-inspired design, a TFT dash, a bi-directional quickshifter, switchable ABS, and traction control. The updated version might arrive in late December and will go against the Yamaha R3 and the TVS Apache RR 310.
