BMW F 450 GS Launch Date: BMW unveiled the production version of its much-awaited F 450 GS motorcycle at the EICMA 2025. With the G 310 GS discontinued, the F 450 GS will act as the entry point into the brand’s GS lineup. The motorcycle will be made in India by TVS, and it was completely revealed ahead of its launch in India. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and specs of the upcoming BMW F 450 GS.
BMW F 450 GS: Design & Hardware
The BMW F 450 GS gets a quad LED DRLs at the front, inspired by its bigger sibling, the R 1300 GS. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 178 kilograms. It gets USD forks at the front, and the suspension duty is handled by an adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. The motorcycle gets a single disc at the front and a dual-disc brake setup at the rear. The F 450 GS by BMW also comes equipped with the BMW Shift Assistant Pro quickshifter for smooth upshifts and downshifts, and it also gets adjustable gear and brake levers.

BMW F 450 GS: Features
The BMW F 450 GS will be available with adjustable hand levers and heated grips being offered as standard. The motorcycle also gets a 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity features, BMW ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and Dynamic Brake Light. The motorcycle is also available with additional customisation options, such as cross-spoke wheels, wind and weather protection with different windshield visors on offer, luggage systems, handlebar risers, and various seat options.

BMW F 450 GS: Powertrain & Variants
The BMW F 450 GS is powered by a 420cc twin-cylinder engine, which is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The mill on F 450 GS is capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 48 hp and 43 Nm, respectively. The motorcycle features a stainless steel exhaust system with a catalytic converter on the right side. The BMW F 450 GS will be offered in a total of 4 variants: Basic, Exclusive, Sport, and Trophy. The BMW F 450 GS is expected to be launched in India in early 2026.
