BSA Bantam Bike: Classic Legends is all set to expand its BSA motorcycle lineup with the introduction of the Bantam 350. The Bantam nameplate is not new to the overseas market, as BSA produced it from 1948 to 1971. The original Bantam motorcycles were available with a two-stroke engine and displacements ranging between 123cc and 173cc. However, the new Bantam looks quite similar to the Jawa 42 FJ motorcycle sold in the country.
BSA Bantam 350 Design
The BSA Bantam features a round headlight at the front, along with a sculpted tank. The design of the handlebars, twin rear shock absorbers, alloy wheels, and the single-piece upswept seat is identical to that of the Jawa 42 FJ. The mirrors on the end of the bar remind us of the Yezdi roadster. The BSA Bantam 350 gets a single silencer, whereas the 42 FJ by Jawa gets a dual silencer setup.

BSA Bantam 350 Engine
As per several media reports, the BSA Bantam 350 also shares its platform with the 42 FJ. The upcoming Bantam 350 is expected to draw its power from the same Alpha 2 series of engine used in the Jawa 350 and 42 FJ. The 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine can churn out 28.8 bhp and 29.62 Nm of torque.
