Citroen Basalt X: Citroen, the French car manufacturer, has expanded the lineup of the Citroen Aircross X and Citroen Basalt X SUVs with the addition of new variants. The addition of new variants has made the turbocharged variants more affordable, and the brand has also extended the Naturally Aspirated (NA) petrol engine to the higher-spec trims of the SUVs. Moreover, the brand has also updated the Citroen eC3X electric hatchback in terms of range. Let’s take a look at all of the updates in a closer look.
Citroen Aircross X: New Variants & Price
Earlier, the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine was offered with the Citroen Aircross X Turbo Plus trim, which is priced at Rs 11.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The brand will now be offering the same engine from the base-spec Turbo You trim onwards, which is priced at Rs 10.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Thus, the Aircross X with its turbo petrol engine is now more affordable by Rs 1.50 lakh. You can check the variant-wise prices in the table below:

Citroen Basalt X: New Variants & Price
Similar to the Citroen Aircross X, the Basalt X was available with a turbocharged petrol engine from mid-spec Turbo Plus trim onwards, which is priced at Rs 11.57 lakh, ex-showroom. With the addition of the new Turbo You variant, the Basalt X turbo petrol has become more affordable by Rs 1.58 lakh and is now available at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Citroen eC3X: More Range
The updated Citroen eC3X was launched in India in June 2026, and the brand has now increased the claimed range of its electric hatchback offering. The eC3X had an MIDC claimed range of up to 325 kilometres on a single charge. The brand has now announced an MIDC claimed range of up to 330 kilometres for the eC3X. As per the company, the increase in the range is outcome of using energy more efficiently.
