Stellantis Group, a global automaker that owns multiple car brands across the world. In India, Stellantis manufactures and sells automobiles for the Citroen brand in India. Stellantis has revealed plans to standardise six airbags and incorporate additional safety features across its product lineup in India. The manufacturer has revealed that these safety enhancements will be implemented in their products in the latter half of 2024.

It is anticipated that with the inclusion of six airbags, it is likely that there will be a slight increase in the prices of their vehicles sold across the country. Stellantis made this announcement after the Citroen eC3 received a zero-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test. In addition to the inclusion of six airbags, Citroen will equip all of their cars with ISOFIX child seat mounts and rear seat belt reminders. Presently, the company's lineup consists of four models: the C3, eC3, C3 Aircross, and C5 Aircross.
Speaking about this, the manufacturer further stated that, “Stellantis confirms its vehicles comply with all current local market regulations and its commitment to safety with six airbags and additional safety features as standard across products in India during the second half of the year.”

Citroen Vehicle Lineup In India - Prices
Citroen C3 is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 6.16 lakh and Rs 8.96 lakh (ex-showroom). Citroen eC3 is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 11.61 lakh and Rs 13.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Citroen C3 Aircross is available in India with its prices starting from Rs 9.99 lakh that go up to Rs 14.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Citroen C5 Aircross is available in India with its prices ranging from Rs 36.91 lakh that go up to Rs 37.67 lakh (ex-showroom).
