Nissan Magnite Mileage CNG: In line with the Union Government's initiatives focused on alternative fuels, particularly the recent rollout of the ethanol-blended petrol programme across India, Nissan Motor India has announced that its Magnite compact SUV (both new and existing) is fully compatible with E20 fuel. It also said that it was committed to accelerating towards sustainable mobility through continuous product innovation and low-emission practices, according to an official press release.
Nissan Magnite: Fully Compatible with E20
The Magnite compact SUV is available in two engine options: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, each designed for different driving requirements. The former develops 71bhp and 96Nm, while the latter makes 99bhp and 160Nm. Both engines, according to Nissan, are E20-compliant, with transition to E20 fuel effective from August 2024 for the turbo-petrol variants and February 2025 for the less powerful petrol versions.
In its official statement, Nissan said, 'Owing to Nissan’s robust engineering and high build quality, all Magnite vehicles — new and existing — are capable of running on E20 fuel, with no significant issues observed. Nissan has ensured full compatibility with the Government of India's initiative to shift to E20 fuel as part of our shared commitment to the move to greener fuels and lower emissions.'

Nissan Magnite: Assured Warranty Support
With a strategy that focuses on a customer-first approach, Nissan India has assured all Magnite vehicle owners that any potential issues arising from the usage of E20 fuel will be inspected and addressed during routine service appointments, as mandated by the Government of India. In fact, the company will also honour the warranty on Magnite units sold after October 2024, as well as any Nissan vehicle manufactured in India under an active warranty.
For the new Magnite (October 2024 model), Nissa currently offers an extended warranty programme, which is applicable for up to 10 years or 2 lakh kilometres, providing buyers with one of the longest protection packages in the segment.
