F-35 Fighter Jet In India: An F-35B fighter jet recently made an emergency landing in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram airport. The F-35 is one of the world’s most advanced and costly fighter jets. The job of protecting one of the world’s most advanced fighter jets was assigned to CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) and the Mahindra Marksman. Here we are sharing information about the features, engine, and capabilities of the Marksman APC (armored personnel carrier) vehicle.
Mahindra Marksman: The Armour
Mahindra Marksman was first deployed with the CISF in 2019, and at that time, only 6 of these APC vehicles were given to the force. The Marksman is primarily used as a high protection vehicle for convoys, for patrolling intense areas, and for riot control. It comes equipped with a B6 level armouring, which means that it can withstand rifle rounds, mines, and even grenade blasts.

Mahindra Marksman: The Engine
The Marksman is available with two engine options, which include a 2.2-litre m-Hawk or a 2.6-litre diesel engine. The Marksman by Mahindra is also equipped with a 4x4 powertrain configuration, which helps it move through rough terrain with ease. The engine options are paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and while the m-Hawk generates 120 hp and 280 Nm of torque, the 2.6-litre diesel engine generates 115 hp and 228 Nm of Torque. The Marksman also has bulletproof glass, a roof hatch, and additional protection for the fuel tank, engine, and battery.
Mahindra Marksman: Features
The Mahindra Marksman is also equipped with satellite communication technology, fire control technology, remote remote-controlled weapon system, and a laser-controlled range finder. It also has a rearview camera and an LCD screen for the driver. The Mahindra Marksman also has a machine gun mount point, and the APC vehicle is also used by the special forces.
