The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is upgrading the electronic toll collection system to improve efficiency and transparency. To achieve this, NHAI has decided to discontinue FASTags that have not completed their KYC after February 29, 2024, extending the previous deadline of January 31.

For those who have not completed the KYC process for their FASTags or are unsure about it. You can complete your FASTag KYC by following these simple steps - 

- Visit the official website of FASTag. 

- Log in using your registered mobile number and password, or opt for OTP verification.

- Once logged in, access the dashboard and select the 'My Profile' option to view your registration details.

- To update KYC, navigate to the KYC subsection within the 'My Profile' section.

- Select your customer type and fill in the mandatory fields with the required ID proof and address proof documents.

- Upload a passport-size photograph and address details as proof.

- Ensure that you tick the box for self-declaration of authentication of documents and information before submitting your KYC details.
