Tesla Supercharger India:  Tesla began its official journey in India with the opening of its first showroom in Mumbai. Now, the brand is all set to officially launch its first-ever Supercharger station at BKC Mumbai today. Here we are sharing all the available information about the Tesla Supercharger, along with the charging costs.

Tesla Supercharger Station In India

The first-ever Tesla Supercharger will be opened at the same location where the brand began its official Indian journey. The Supercharger facility located at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) will feature a total of 8 chargers. While 4 of these chargers are equipped with V4 stalls with a charging capacity of up to 250 kW, 4 out of these 8 chargers are destination chargers with a maximum output of 11 kW.

Tesla Supercharger India: Cost Of Charging

The brand has also revealed the cost of charging for its Supercharger facility located at BKC Mumbai. The cost of using the V4 stall has been set at Rs 24 per kilowatt hour, whereas it will cost Rs 14 per kilowatt hour for the destination chargers. The Tesla Model Y is powered by a 62.5 kWh LFP battery in India. If a person uses the V4 charger to charge their Model Y, it will cost them around Rs 1500 for a full charge. The destination charger, on the other hand, will cost Rs 875 for a full charge.
