Force Gurkha 3-Door, 5-Door Deliveries: Force Motors has officially started delivering the new Gurkha 5-door and 3-door models in India. They are priced at Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 5-door variant and Rs 16.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 3-door variant. Both models feature the same powertrain and features, with the 5-door offering a longer wheelbase for added practicality.

Force Gurkha - Design
The updated Gurkha models boast significant exterior enhancements, including refreshed front and rear styling and larger 18-inch alloy wheels. The 5-door Gurkha, with its extended wheelbase, provides a more practical interior layout featuring a usable second row accessible through the additional doors and a third row equipped with two captain seats.

Moving inside, the rugged SUVs have been modernised with a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, adding contemporary comfort features to the Gurkha lineup.
Force Gurkha - Power & Performance
Under the hood, the Force Gurkha is now equipped with an updated 2.6-litre turbocharged intercooled diesel engine. This engine delivers a power output of 138 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox and the off-roader is equipped with front and rear locking differentials. The 4WD system has also been improved with a shift-on-fly rotor knob, replacing the previous manual lever setup for easy operation.

The 2024 Force Gurkha faces direct competition from the Mahindra Thar 3-door and the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door. Additionally, it will soon compete with the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-door variant, which is expected to launch in the Indian market later this year. After its launch, the Thar 5-door will be available in the same price range as the Gurkha 5-door or slightly higher. However, the Thar 5-door is anticipated to feature a more powerful engine than its rival. Additionally, it will also boast a more elaborate feature list when compared to the Gurkha 5-door.
