Honda City Hybrid Price Hiked: Honda has hiked prices for the eHEV variant of its City Sedan in India by up to Rs 29,000. The Honda City has been one of the most cherished sedans in the country ever since its introduction in 1998. Currently, the fifth-generation model of the sedan is sold here, and it is available at a discount, along with the Elevate and the recently updated Amaze. Here are all the details of the price hike and the discount available on the Honda City sedan.
Honda City eHEV: Prices Hiked
The Honda City eHEV is offered in a single feature-loaded ZX trim in India, and it is now more expensive at Rs 20.85 lakhs (Ex-showroom), after the prices were hiked by up to Rs 29,900. The Hybrid variant of the City draws its power from the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, integrated with a dual electric motor setup. Thanks to its powertrain, the midsize sedan by Honda can generate 122 bhp and 253 Nm of torque.

Honda Car Discount Offer
The Japanese carmaker is also offering all three models- Honda City, Honda Amaze, and Honda Elevate with discounts and benefits of up to Rs 76,100 in May 2025. While the hybrid model of the City is being offered with a discount of up to Rs 65,000, the petrol variant of the sedan is being offered with a discount of up to Rs 63,300. The Honda Elevate is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 76,100, whereas the second generation of Honda Amaze is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 57,200. It is worth mentioning that the third generation of the Amaze is not available with any discounts or benefits.
