Honda Smart Workshop: Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer in the country, has introduced a new mobile application called Smart Workshop, aimed at enhancing the servicing experience for motorcycle and scooter owners. This innovative app allows users to monitor the progress of their vehicle's servicing in real-time, providing transparency and convenience. Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, highlighted that the app not only ensures transparency but also offers a convenient experience for customers.

The key feature of the Smart Workshop app is its real-time tracking functionality, which enables owners to monitor the status of their bike or scooter while it is being serviced at the workshop. Upon submitting their vehicle for servicing, owners receive an SMS containing a link to track the service progress online, ensuring they stay informed every step of the way. In addition to real-time tracking, the app offers various other services to improve the overall service experience. Users can make online payments through the app, eliminating the need for cash transactions. They can also check the overall queue of vehicles at the service centre, helping them plan their visit more efficiently. Furthermore, the app also generates the final service invoice, making the entire process easier.
Honda has currently made the Smart Workshop available in select cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Jaipur. However, Honda plans to expand the availability of the Smart Workshop app to all its service centres across the country by the end of 2025.
