Honda Motorcycles And Scooter India (HMSI) is a big name in the two-wheeler market and has some of the best scooters currently available in India. The automobile giant earlier launched the Honda H'ness CB350 to cater to the demand for cruiser bikes in the country. Now, Honda has released a teaser showcasing a new bike that it will be launching soon in India. In the teaser, Honda has used a hashtag for CB, which means that the upcoming bike is likely to be the sibling of H'ness CB350.

The teaser released by Honda shows a new bike, somewhat similar to the H'ness, featuring a split seat setup and Honda's traditional grab rail. The teaser further showed the new bike's front disc brake with Nissin Caliper and a covered shock absorber, which was seen in the Royal Enfield Classic 350. While it is not yet clear whether the new Honda bike will be a rival to the RE Classic 350, Honda earlier this year announced that they will be launching a new bike, which will be based on the same platform as H'ness CB350 and CB350RS.

According to media reports, the new bike is expected to have the same engine as H'ness, which is a 350 cc, single-cylinder engine generating 21 bhp of power and a peak torque output of 30 Nm. The engine is also likely to be paired with a 5-speed gearbox with relatively tall gearing. It is also expected that Honda will tune the new bike's engine, to generate slightly more power.

In terms of prices, the new bike could be the most affordable offering by Honda in the 350 cc lineup. It is expected that the bike could cost somewhat over Rs 2 lakh, however, nothing on the prices has been shared by Honda. Currently, the Honda H'ness CB350 comes in four variants DLX, DLX Pro, Chrome and Legacy Edition and prices range from Rs 2.10 lakh to Rs 2.16 lakh. The CB350RS, offered in two variants -- DLX and New Hue Edition, costs around R 2.15 lakh to Rs 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
