Honda WR-V RS SUV Spotted Undisguised In India: Check Design And Engine Here

Honda WR-V Specs:  A Honda WR-V RS SUV was spied undisguised in India recently. The WR-V RS is already on sale in several international markets, and its appearance in the country hints that the SUV might be launched in the Indian market as well. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain of the Honda WR-V Rs SUV here.

Honda WR-V RS: Front-End

The Honda WR-V RS spotted in India looks very similar to the third-generation Honda Amaze from the front section. The front fascia of the SUV gets the same set of headlights, and the chrome garnish above the grille also looks identical to the Amaze. However, the grille gets tiny rectangular-shaped slats in chrome finish, and it differentiates it from the Amaze. It also gets a faux bash plate, black surrounds near the fog lamps, and a sporty bumper.

Honda WR-V RS: Rear-End

The rear section of the Honda WR-V RS SUV complements the front design, and the Honda WR-V RS gets LED taillights with sequential indicators. It also gets a bold, thick, black cladding and a sporty bumper on the rear end as well. The RS is the more sporty version of the Honda WR-V SUV, which was discontinued in April 2023 in India.

Honda WR-V RS: Powertrain

As informed earlier, the Honda WR-V RS is available in several international markets, and the Indonesian-spec of the WR-V RS comes with a 1.5-litre iVTEC engine, which can be paired with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed CVT transmission. We expect the Honda WR-V RSto be launched in late 2026 in the country. We also expect that in India, the WR-V RS will be launched with a 1.2-litre engine, like the Honda Amaze.
