Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Spotted: South Korean automaker Hyundai is gearing up to launch the Alcazar facelift, especially since its smaller sibling, the Hyundai Creta recently received a major update in India. The new design of the Creta aligns with Hyundai's latest international models, hinting at a similar design for the Alcazar SUV. Once launched, the updated Hyundai Alcazar will compete with models like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700 in the SUV segment.

The Alcazar facelift is set to debut around September, just before India's festive season. A prototype of the updated Alcazar was spotted in India a few weeks ago, although it was heavily camouflaged, making it hard to figure out the specific changes.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift - Design
However, a more recent prototype seen in South Korea reveals several interesting updates. The front of the Alcazar will feature a completely new grille design with horizontal chrome slats, giving it a distinct identity from the Creta. The headlamps will also receive sharp styling updates, complemented by a fresh bumper design and new dual-tone alloy wheels.The rear is expected to be revamped as well with updated tail lamps, a revised tailgate, and a redesigned bumper.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift - Interior
In terms of interior, the Hyundai Alcazar will adopt the Creta's dashboard setup but with different colour tones and materials to enhance its premium feel. Additional features such as twin 10.25-inch screens, ADAS, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats, are likely to be included.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift - Powertrain
Under the hood, the Alcazar facelift is expected to retain its current engine options - a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with a power output of 160 bhp and a 1.5-liter diesel engine with a power output of 115 bhp. Both manual and automatic gearbox options are expected to continue as well.
