Hyundai Motor India: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has completed 29 years in India today. The South Korean car manufacturer has emerged as one of the most trusted automotive brands in India, and it has sold more than 1.2 crore vehicles since its inception on May 06, 1996. Hyundai began its journey in India with its manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. Since then, this facility has emerged as a manufacturing hub for South Korean carmaker. HMIL strongly contributes toward the ‘Make In India, Made For The World’ initiative, and currently it is the largest passenger car exporter with shipments to over 150 countries.
