Hyundai Exter Variants:  Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) has expanded the portfolio of its entry-level SUV, the Exter, in India by adding two new, S Smart and SX Smart, variants. The South Korean automaker aims to offer customers a wider choice of advanced features. Prices for the S Smart and SX Smart variants of the Exter range between Rs 7.68 Lakhs and Rs 9.18 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The new variants are available in manual and AMT transmissions in petrol, along with Hy-CNG Duo powertrains. Let’s dive deeper and take a closer look at the freshly launched variants of the Hyundai Exter.

Hyundai Exter Variants: Sunroof Becomes Affordable

The freshly added S Smart variant of the Exter introduces an electric sunroof at a more affordable price of Rs 7.68 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The electric sunroof was introduced earlier on the 1.2-liter AMT Kappa SX (O) variant, priced at Rs 7.85 lakhs (Ex-showroom). In simpler terms, customers can now get an electric sunroof at Rs 17,000 less. Additionally, customers can opt for a 9-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system by paying an MSRP of Rs 14,999.

Hyundai Exter Variants: Shared And Distinctive Features

The all-new S Smart and SX Smart Variants of the Exter also house a lot of premium and advanced features. While the S Smart and SX Smart variants of the micro-SUV will share features such as a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), bigger steel tyres (R15), and an electric sunroof. The S Smart variant will exclusively get LED taillamps, LED DRLs, and rear AC vents, whereas the sharkfin antenna, projector headlamp, and smart key with push button start will be limited only to the SX Smart variant.

Hyundai Exter Variants: Pricing Explained

The manual transmission model of the all-new S Smart and SX Smart trims will be offered at Rs 7,68,490 and Rs 8,16,290, respectively. The AMT model of the newly added S and SX Smart trims will be priced at Rs 8,39,090 and Rs 8,83,290, whereas the Hy-CNG duo model will be offered at Rs 8,62,890 and Rs 9,18,490, respectively.
