Popular Facelifts Launched This Month: The Indian automotive industry has been witnessing a growing demand for vehicles in the country for the past couple of years. In 2023, we registered impressive sales figures for all sorts of vehicles varying from electric models to ICE powered vehicles to even two-wheelers. More and more automobile manufacturers have been entering the Indian automotive market, owing to the growing trend in the industry. This trend continues in 2024 as well, as four new models have already been launched in just 24 days into the month of January. Additionally, before the month ends there are two new luxury models lined-up to be launched in January 2024. Let’s take a quick recap at the models launched in January 2024 so far and upcoming launches scheduled for the remaining part of the month.

Hyundai Creta Facelift
Hyundai Creta was a highly anticipated launch that took place on January 16, 2024. The Hyundai Creta has been launched at an introductory starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) with its top variant being priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It has been updated with a host of new advanced features, new interiors and a revamped exterior design. It also gets a new and powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.
Mercedes-Benz GLS Facelift
German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz India launched the 2024 GLS facelift for the Indian market on January 8, 2024. The new Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift has been launched with its prices ranging between Rs 1.32 crore to Rs 1.37 crore (ex-showroom). The 2024 GLS facelift has been launched in two major variants - 450 and 450d.

Kia Sonet Facelift
South Korean automaker Kia India revealed the 2024 Sonet facelift for the country in December, 2023. On January 12, Kia India revealed the price for the new Sonet facelift with its base level variant being priced at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and the top model facelift Rs 15.69 lakh (ex-showroom). 2024 Kia Sonet facelift has been introduced with Level 1 ADAS, new features, revamped interiors and exterior.
New Models Launched This Month
Tata Punch EV
Tata Punch EV was launched for the Indian market on January 17, 2024. Tata Punch EV has been launched at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) with its top model being priced at Rs 14.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tata Punch EV is available with two battery packs - a 25kWh battery and a 35kWh battery. Both these battery packs are offered in two different variants of Standard Range and Long Range.
Along with these launches, Mercedes-Benz India is also gearing up to launch two new models - Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift and Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe on January 31, 2024.
