Hyundai Creta EV Spied: South Korean automaker Hyundai is working on an electric counterpart of its Creta SUV. The Hyundai Creta EV has been seen testing on Indian roads. As seen in the spy shots, the Creta EV boasts a different interior and features to set it apart from its ICE counterpart.

Hyundai Creta EV - Interior & Features
Moving inside the Creta EV, it features a new steering wheel design similar to Hyundai's Kona electric SUV. It's a three-spoke wheel with controls on it. The dashboard is redesigned with touch controls for things like climate settings. The centre console is also changed and there's a dual-screen setup like in Hyundai's other electric models. Apart from this, it is expected to boast many features such as a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) at Level 2.
Hyundai Creta EV - Exterior Design
The spy shots and videos reveal that electric Creta looks quite similar to the ICE Creta SUV from the outside. Talking about its exterior design elements, it features new LED daytime running lights, similar tail lights and roof rails like the 2024 Creta facelift. However, the wheels are designed uniquely, resembling a windmill, which is common for Hyundai's electric vehicles.
Hyundai Creta EV - Battery and Range
Talking about the powertrain of the Hyundai Creta EV, the manufacturer has not revealed any specific information about its details. However, it is anticipated that it will feature a 55-60 kWh battery pack that will enable the EV to offer a range of approximately 450 kilometres on a single charge.

Hyundai Creta EV - Price and Launch
There has been no confirmation on when the Creta EV will be launched in the Indian market, however, it is anticipated that Hyundai India will be launching this new EV model by the end of 2024. Talking about the price, it is expected that the Hyundai Creta EV will be priced between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
