Hyundai Motor India has launched the highly anticipated facelift of the Creta SUV for the Indian market on Tuesday. Hyundai Creta was first launched in the Indian market in 2015 and it has been a segment leader since then while also being able to garner significant sales for the brand. Along with the Creta, Hyundai’s sibling brand Kia offers another counterpart of the popular mid-size SUV, the Kia Seltos. Both these models compete in the same segment and have been able to capture the market significantly. Now, post the launch of the new Creta, a lot of us have the same question in mind. Is it better to buy the Hyundai Creta or the Kia Seltos? Hyundai Creta
Price - The new Creta facelift has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) with its prices going up to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model.
Features - In terms of features, the new Creta SUV is equipped with some top-end features such as integrated screen for infotainment system and instrument cluster, rear-window shade, magnetic pad, ambient light, BOSE 8 speaker sound system, 8-way power driver seat, wireless charger, front row ventilated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, voice controlled panoramic sunroof, 36 safety features and level 2 ADAS.
Engine Specs - Talking about the engine, it is available with three engine options - 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine and a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. All these engines are capable of churning a power output of 115 bhp/144 Nm of torque, 116 bhp/250 Nm of torque and 160 bhp/253 Nm of torque.

Kia Seltos
Price - The Kia Seltos is available with its prices ranging between Rs 10.90 lakh and Rs 20.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Features - The Kia Seltos is equipped with advanced features such as dual 10.25-inch displays for both the infotainment system and instrument cluster. It also features dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, air purifier, ambient lighting, LED sound mood lighting, heads-up display and ventilated front seats among other notable features.
Engine Specs - In terms of engine configuration, the Kia Seltos is offered with the same engine options as the Hyundai Creta facelift, as both are produced by sister companies Hyundai and Kia. The engine options include a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. These engines deliver the same power output and torque as the Creta facelift.
