Pink Patrol's Hyundai Creta: Visual Changes

Visually, the Pink Patrol version of the Creta stands out with its striking pink livery applied over a white base paint, with pronounced 'Pink Patrol' lettering. Moreover, the vehicle also features roof-mounted strobe lights, enhancing its operational visibility and reinforcing women's safety measures as part of the initiative. The custom Creta will be operated exclusively by all-women police personnel, dedicated to curbing harassment and boosting safety across the State.

Pink Patrol's Hyundai Creta: Powertrain

While the standard Hyundai Creta gets 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5 turbocharged petrol, and 1.5 turbocharged diesel engine options under the hood, the customised Creta is expected to be equipped with a diesel unit. The diesel engine is tuned to produce 114bhp and 250Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.

Pink Patrol Initiative: What is it?

Pink Patrol is a women-piloted police patrol initiative aimed at addressing eve-teasing and other forms of harassment against girls and women, while also empowering individuals to report crimes without hesitation in public spaces, fostering a safer environment for all. The customised Creta with women police personnel will conduct regular patrols in high-footfall areas frequented by women, including markets, transportation hubs, educational institutions, and tourist locations.
