Hyundai Verna Facelift:  It seems like Hyundai, the South Korean car manufacturer, is gearing up to upgrade many models in its lineup in India. While the upcoming Hyundai Venue has been spotted testing for quite some time in the country, an upcoming facelift model of the i20 and the Verna were recently spied testing on the Indian roads. Let’s take a look at the features, engine, and design details of the upcoming Hyundai Verna Facelift.

Hyundai Verna Facelift: Design

The spy images captured the test mule from the rear end, and they hint at the upcoming model of the compact sedan getting an upgraded taillight along with a redesigned rear bumper. The rear end of the test mule still features the full-length lightbar, similar to the outgoing model. However, the taillights are new, and so is the lower section of the bumper, which provides the SUV a new, squarish look from the rear. The front fascia remains hidden, but it is anticipated that the Hyundai Verna facelift will feature a squarish front end in line with the rear end. The brand has upgraded new models of its sedans with a more angular look, and the Hyundai Verna is anticipated to get the same look.

Hyundai Verna Facelift: Features

As informed earlier, only the rear end of the upcoming Hyundai Verna Facelift was captured during the testing, and the interior or features of the upcoming model of the compact sedan remain hidden. However, the brand is expected to upgrade the Verna Facelift with advanced technological features such as a larger touchscreen-based infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is also anticipated to feature a bigger, fully digital instrument cluster and an upgraded ADAS suite.

Hyundai Verna Facelift: Engine

The Hyundai Verna Facelift is anticipated to be launched in India by mid-2026. While it is anticipated to receive many changes in terms of features and design, it is very likely to remain unchanged under the hood, and it will continue to offer the same engine options the current model comes equipped with. The current Hyundai Verna is available with two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. The engine options can be paired with either a DCT or a CVT gearbox, and while the 1.5-litre petrol engine generates 115PS of power, the turbo petrol can generate 160PS of peak power.
