British luxury manufacturer Jaguar is gearing up to make significant changes to its vehicle lineup while focusing on electric vehicles (EVs). Jaguar has revealed plans to transition its entire production to EVs in response to the evolving automotive landscape across the world. To align with this strategy, Jaguar will cease production of its renowned sedans and sports cars, including the XE, XF and F-Type series. These models will be phased out and the lineup will exclusively feature SUVs such as the I-Pace, E-Pace and F-Pace throughout the year.

While the XE, XF and F-Type models have enjoyed popularity in markets like India, customers will still have the opportunity to purchase these vehicles until Jaguar introduces its new lineup of EVs. Despite the shift towards EVs, Jaguar will continue to offer ICE-powered variants for some time. The company plans to introduce a new lineup of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) while gradually phasing out its ICE models.

This strategic move reflects Jaguar's commitment to adapting to the evolving automotive landscape and meeting customer preferences. The company has ambitious plans to launch a range of electric vehicles starting in 2025, signaling a new era for the UK-based luxury automaker. In the first half of 2025, Jaguar is set to introduce a four-seater electric GT car with a high-performance engine delivering 600 bhp. This model is expected to rival the Porsche Taycan after its global launch. Furthermore, Jaguar will unveil a luxury SUV and a large sedan car in 2023, both built on the bespoke JEA platform, further expanding its EV offerings.
