Kawasaki KLE 500 Adventure Bike Unveil: Kawasaki has released a second teaser video of its forthcoming KLE 500 adventure bike, offering new glimpses ahead of the bike's unveiling on October 24. The 18-second video teases the silhouette of the bike with the words 'Life's a Rally, Ride It', 'New KLE', and 'est.1991'. The model in the video features a twin LED headlamp setup, a tall windscreen, a low-slung exhaust system, split seats, and a larger 21-inch front spoked wheel. The bike's chiselled body panels lend it an aggressive ADV appeal. 

The previous teaser video revealed a steel box-section rear swingarm, a single disc brake, and wire-spoked wheels with tube-type tyres. It also showed a front fender finished in white, green, and grey. Besides, last year's EICMA teaser had confirmed that the bike would have an upside-down front fork with a single-piston Nissin calliper.

Kawasaki KLE 500 Engine Specs

Engine specifications are yet to be known. Having said that, given that the header pipes on the EICMA display followed a route similar to the 451cc engine on the Ninja 500, we expect the new KLE 500 to feature a 451cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. In the Ninja 500, the engine is tuned to develop 45bhp at 9,000rpm and 42.6Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm.

Kawasaki KLE 500 India Launch Details

Kawasaki hasn't announced the launch timeline yet, but the KLE adventure bike is expected to hit the Indian market early next year. The brand might bring the bike through the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route, as it had done with the Ninja 500, priced at Rs 5.66 lakh. If so, the KLE 500 could cost between Rs 5.50 lakh and Rs 6 lakh. However, if the brand chooses the localisation route, prices could drop to Rs 3.10-3.50 lakh. The prices are ex-showroom.
