Kia Carens Clavis EV New Variants: Kia India has added two new mid-spec variants, the HTX E and the HTX E [ER], to the Carens Clavis EV line-up, promising more range and comfort over the HTK+. The development comes over a week after the brand added a new high-end HTX (O) variant to the Carens Clavis ICE model. The HTX E and the HTX E [ER], priced at Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh, respectively, are positioned between the HTK+ and HTX variants of the EV. Kia Carens Clavis EV New Variants: Range
The HTX E comes with a 42kWh battery pack with a claimed 404km range, while the HTX E [ER], which is an Extended Range version, has a bigger 51.4kWh battery offering a claimed 490km range. Both batteries are paired with an electric motor, with power output varying from 133bhp to 169bhp. Using a DC fast charger, the batteries can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 39 minutes (claimed).

Kia Carens Clavis EV New Variants: Features
The new HTX E and HTX E [ER] variants bring a 26.62-inch dual panoramic display, connected tech, a panoramic sunroof, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, LED lamps for all three rows, window auto up/down for all windows, a two-tone steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment, and a wireless charger. Leatherette upholstery, a seatback folding table, solar glass, an air purifier (with virus protection), multi-colour ambient lighting, and footwell illumination also form part of the package. Safety-wise, the variants offer six airbags, hill start assist, ESC, and 18 advanced safety features.

Kia Carens Clavis EV: Price
With the addition of two more variants, the Carens Clavis EV is available in a total of six variants: HTK+, HTX E, HTX, HTX E [ER], HTX [ER], and HTX+ [ER]. The model range starts at Rs 17.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
