Kia Carens Clavis Unveiled In India: The Kia Carens Clavis has been unveiled in India today. Newly uncovered Kia Carens Clavis has a more SUV-like appearance when compared to the regular Carens MPV. Bookings for the new 3-row MPV by the South Korean carmaker will begin tomorrow. Let’s take a look at the features, expected price and other key details while looking at the edgy and sharp design of the newly launched Kia Carens Clavis.

Kia Carens Clavis Design

Newly unveiled Carens Clavis features Kia’s signature tiger nose grille and L-shaped DRLs, which function as a turn indicator as well. The headlamp on the 7-seater MPV from Kia has a triple-ice cube design, and it also acts as a reflector. The Bumper at the front looks muscular, and the thick body cladding with wheel arches provides it a more sporty appearance. It also gets a connecting taillight setup at the rear, which is identical to its other siblings, such as Kia Seltos, Kia Sonet and Kia Carens.

Kia Carens Clavis Interior

Kia Carens Clavis will feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is claimed to be the largest in the segment. It will also get the same size screen for the fully digital instrument cluster. It will also get features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a Panoramic Sunroof, and a Dual-Zone Climate Control System on the inside.

Kia Carens Clavis Powertrain Options

Kia Carens Clavis will be offered with 3 powertrain options, combined with either a 6-speed manual, Clutchless Manual, torque Converter automatic or a 7-speed transmission. The engines offered will be as follows:

  • 1.5-litre NA (Naturally Aspirated) engine that generates 113bhp and 144Nm of torque.
  • Smartstream G1.5-litre T-GDi engine that generates 157bhp and 253Nm of torque.
  • 1.5-litre Turbo Diesel Engine that churns out 113bhp and 200Nm of torque.

Kia Carens Clavis Safety And Expected Price

The upcoming Carens Clavis is expected to provide enhanced safety to its passengers. It gets features such as a 360-degree camera, level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), Six Airbags, tyre Pressure Monitoring System, electronic stability control (ESC), and rear/front parking sensors. The Pricing for the Kia Carens will be revealed in June 2025, and we expect it to be priced between Rs 15 Lakhs and Rs 23 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). Official booking for the newly unveiled Carens Clavis will commence tomorrow, and the booking amount has been set at Rs 25,000.
