Kia Carens Clavis Vs Carens Interior

All new Kia Carens Clavis features new seat upholstery and uses materials that are close to leatherette. These small changes inside the cabin enhance the overall premiumness in comparison to the regular Carens. The newly unveiled Carens Clavis also features a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, and a different effect for ambient lighting. It gets a new HVAC control panel as well. Kia Carens Clavis Vs Carens: Design

Newly unveiled Kia Carens Clavis gets a more edgy and sportier design that provides it with more SUV-like appeal when compared to the regular Carens. The former one gets new Headlamps, taillamps, and a new set of alloy wheels as well. The front fascia of the Carens Clavis gets a cleaner look than the regular Carens, and it houses the South Korean carmaker’s latest design language, similar to its electric sibling, the EV5.

Kia Carens Clavis Vs Carens: Powertrain

There is not much difference between the Carens Clavis and the regular Carens, in terms of powertrain. Both of these models come equipped with either a 1.5-litre NA (Naturally Aspirated) engine that generates 113 bhp and 144Nm of torque, a Smartstream G1.5-litre T-GDi engine that generates 160 bhp and 250Nm of torque, or a 1.6-litre Turbo Diesel Engine that churns out 116 bhp and 200Nm of torque.

Kia Carens Clavis Vs Carens Safety

The newly unveiled Kia Carens Clavis provides enhanced protection to its passengers when compared to the regular Carens, as it gets level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). The ADAS suite on the Carens Clavis gets features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Collision Assist, and Lane Keep Assist. Not to forget, the Clavis also gets safety features such as dashcams on both ends, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera, which it shares with the regular Carens.
