Kia Carens Facelift Spotted: South Korean automaker Kia is gearing up to introduce the Carens in the Indian facelift market. The facelifted MPV has been spotted several times on Indian roads, with the latest sighting in Sissu, where the manufacturer appears to be conducting high-altitude testing. The new Carens is expected to arrive in dealerships before the end of 2024.

2024 Kia Carens Facelift - Exterior Design
Talking about the exterior design of the 2024 Kia Carens facelift, its exterior design will feature significant changes. The front end will sport new LED headlamps similar to those on the recently unveiled EV3. Additionally, the vehicle will come with a new set of alloy wheels on the sides and revised LED tail lamps at the rear. Both the front and rear bumpers will see updates, giving the Carens MPV a refreshed look.
2024 Kia Carens Facelift - Interior
Moving inside the Kia Carens Facelift, the interior details of the facelifted Carens are still under wraps. However, it is anticipated that the vehicle will retain the current model's six- and seven-seat configurations. Moreover, updates to the features list, along with new fabrics and materials for the dashboard and upholstery, are expected to enhance the cabin's comfort and appeal.
2024 Kia Carens Facelift - Engine
In terms of engine specs, the Carens facelift will likely continue to be equipped with the current engine lineup. This includes a 113 bhp, 1.5-litre petrol engine; a 158 bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 113 bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. The naturally aspirated petrol engine will come with a standard manual gearbox, while the turbo-petrol unit will offer a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The diesel variant will provide three transmission choices: manual, iMT, and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Kia Carens - X Line
The X Line version of the Carens, first introduced in October last year, will also receive enhancements. New features exclusive to this trim include a dash cam and voice commands for controlling all windows. Additionally, Kia has added a seven-seat configuration for the X-Line, which was previously available only with six seats.
