South Korean automaker Kia has once again released another teaser of the upcoming Sonet facelift for the Indian market. Kia India shared another teaser on December 1 which revealed the front fascia and some internal features of the upcoming Kia Sonet facelift. This new teaser now reveals new details about the upcoming mid-size SUV facelift. Kia India has confirmed that the Sonet facelift will be officially revealed on December 14 with its prices being announced sometime in January.

The new teaser shared by Kia India reveals that the upcoming Sonet facelift will be equipped with ADAS technologies as the video showcases a ‘Collision Warning’ indicator. In addition to the ADAS tech, the teaser also reveals the rear design of the Sonet facelift. At the back, it can be seen that Sonet features a full length LED light bar that connects both the tail lamps which also feature a distinct design, same as on the new Seltos and Carens. Additionally, it also gets a new bumper design.
Previously, the teaser released on December 1 showcased that the front fascia of the Sonet facelift will feature a new grille, new LED headlamps, new LED DRLs, horizontally placed fog lamps and a new bumper as well. The previous teaser revealed interior details about the cars as well, it will get a new digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system and a Bose sound system. Talking about interior specifics, it is expected that the Sonet facelift will feature new upholstery options as well.

Talking about the powertrain, the new Sonet facelift is expected to retain the existing engine options that include a 1.2-litre petrol engine, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. These engines produce a power output of 83 bhp, 120 bhp and 116 bhp while producing 115 Nm, 172 Nm and 250 Nm of torque respectively.
