KIA Motors, a popular South Korean automaker that has made a significant contribution to the micro-SUV and mid-size SUV segment with its feature-loaded cars, has launched the next generation Kia Seltos 2023 with some cosmetic changes and engine upgrades. The car would be BSVI Phase 2 compliant which is all set to arrive on April 1.

Kia Seltos 2023 Powertrain:

Kia Seltos 2023 now gets an upgraded 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and turbo-diesel engine. The 1.5 litre petrol engine can churn out a maximum power of 114 bhp power and 144 Nm peak torque while the diesel engine can churn out a maximum power of 115 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. Meanwhile, the 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine has been discontinued.

However, the diesel manual transmission has been replaced by a 6-speed iMT unit. The petrol engine is offered with a 6-speed manual and CVT automatic gearboxes.

Kia Seltos 2023 Models Available: 

The new Kia Seltos 2023 would be available in three models which include Tech Line, GT line, and X line. The variants are HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+, and X Line.

Kia Seltos 2023 Price Hike:

The South Korean automaker has hiked the prices of its popular Seltos 2023 by up to Rs 50,000. The petrol base trim now costs Rs 20,000 more while the other petrol trims are costlier by Rs 25,000. Speaking of diesel trims, the car has witnessed a price hike of Rs 50,000.

Kia Seltos 2023 Price In India:

The all-new Kia Seltos 2023 will now start from Rs 10.89 lakh and will go all the way up to Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Seltos 2023 Rivals:

The new upgraded Kia Seltos 2023 would be competing with Hyundai Creta, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun in the Indian market.
