Kia India has implemented a price increase for its flagship SUV, the Seltos from October. The Korean automaker has raised the prices of various Seltos variants by up to Rs 30,000. Price for the SUV has been increased again as Kia launched the facelift of the Seltos at Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom) on July 21. Along with Seltos, Kia has also increased prices of its Carens MPV by around 2 per cent. Kia’s line-up of vehicles in India includes models like the Sonet, Carnival and EV6. However, the prices of these models will remain the same.

Kia Seltos is one of the best selling models in the Compact SUV segment and competes with segment leaders like Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. The two variants of the Seltos SUV that are impacted by this price hike are the GTX Plus and X Line. All variants of the Kia Seltos that have undergone the price hike offer ADAS Level 2 technology. 

Kia Seltos X-Line

The X-Line variants of the Seltos are the top-spec models of the compact SUV. When these variants were launched in July, they had an ex-showroom price of Rs 19.99 lakh. After the price increase, the diesel AMT variant of the Seltos X-Line will now be priced at Rs 20.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Seltos GTX Plus 

The Kia Seltos GTX Plus variants are available with either a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine, both available with 7-speed DCT and 6-speed AT gearboxes. These variants after the launch of the facelift were available at a price tag of Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Post the recent price hike, the GTX Plus variant will now be priced at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). All variants of the Kia Seltos that have undergone the price hike offer ADAS Level 2 technology.
