South Korean automaker Kia is preparing to launch the sub-compact SUV Sonet facelift on December 14 for the Indian market. Kia India has shared multiple teasers of the upcoming Sonet facelift ahead of its official launch. Now, before its launch, a leaked video has surfaced online which has revealed significant details about the new-gen Kia Sonet. 

Kia Sonet Facelift - Expected Features

The leaked video has confirmed multiple features of the upcoming Kia Sonet facelift which include Level-2 ADAS suite, 360-degree view camera, ventilated front seats, three traction control modes, electrically-adjustable driver seat and idle-start-stop button. However, these features are still a speculation only and haven’t been confirmed yet.

Kia Sonet Facelift - Confirmed Features 

Kia India has shared two teasers of the upcoming Sonet facelift which have confirmed some specific features about the car that include a full length LED light bar at the back that connects both the tail lamps which are similar to the new Seltos and Carens. It also features a revamped bumper at the rear as well as the front. 

At the front fascia, the teaser videos have revealed that the Sonet facelift will get a new grille, new LED headlights, LED tail lights, LED DRLs and horizontally placed fog lamps. It will also feature new revamped 16-inch alloy wheels. 

The upcoming Kia Sonet will be available with 10 colour schemes including a matte edition. The addition of the new Pewter Olive exterior colour theme inspired by the Seltos will further enhance the SUV's aesthetic appeal. 

Confirmed interior details about the Sonet facelift include a new digital instrument cluster, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a Bose sound system.

Kia Sonet Facelift - Engine 

The upcoming Kia Sonet will retain the same set of petrol and diesel engines. The Sonet SUV will feature three engine options that include a 1.2-litre petrol engine, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. These engines produce a power output of 83 bhp, 120 bhp and 116 bhp while producing 115 Nm, 172 Nm and 250 Nm of torque respectively.
