Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini has confirmed that it will be launching its new flagship supercar, the Revuelto for the Indian market on December 6. Lamborghini Revuelto is the brand’s first plug-in-hybrid supercar and is a replacement of the brand’s flagship supercar, Aventador. Post its launch, it is expected that the Revuelto will be priced somewhere between Rs 8-9 crore (ex-showroom) in India.
Lamborghini Revuelto - Powertrain and Performance
Lamborghini will continue to use the same naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine that has the potential to generate a power output of 813 bhp and 725 Nm of peak torque. This V12 engine has been developed specifically for the Revuelto which weighs 17 kg less than the V12 on the Aventador. The V12 engine in the Revuelto is paired to a 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Additionally, the Lamborghini Revuelto is also equipped with three electric motors that have been fitted on the front axle and the gearbox of the supercar. These three electric motors contribute to an enhanced power output of 1015 bhp. The Revuelto features an all-wheel drive system. The electric motors get their power from a 3.8 kWh battery pack that has been placed between the center console. The rear motor also serves as a starter and generator. This battery can be charged with a 7 kW electric current and takes only 30 minutes to fully charge. However, the V12 engine can recharge the battery pack in just six minutes.
Talking about the top-speed of the Lamborghini Revuelto, it can achieve a top-speed of 350 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
Lamborghini Revuelto - Design
In terms of design, the Revuelto maintains the classic Lamborghini style with a sharp and edgy appearance. It has Y-shaped headlights and signature LED lights in the front and rear, following the same Y-shape theme. The quad-exhausts have a hexagonal shape and are positioned right next to the taillights. Additionally, the Revuelto comes with Lamborghini's signature scissor doors.
