Made-In-India Kawasaki KLX230R S Launch: Kawasaki has rolled out its 2026 KLX230R S off-road motorcycle for the Indian market. Pricing the motorcycle competitively, Kawasaki has localised almost 95 per cent of the new bike's components to keep prices in check. At its price, the Kawasaki LX230R S is Rs 5,000 cheaper than the recently updated KLX 230, which receives a price cut along with a performance upgrade and suspension update.

The KLX230R S is not a road-legal bike; therefore, it misses out on a headlamp, taillamp, and an instrument cluster. At 129kg (kerb), it weighs 10kg less than the KLX 230. Unlike the KLX 230, the KLX230R S features competition-spec tyres wrapped around a 21/18-inch wire-spoked wheel setup. Its seat height and ground clearance measure 900mm and 270mm, respectively.
Made-In-India Kawasaki KLX230R S: Chassis
The India-spec KLX230R S uses a high-tensile steel frame and swingarm, contrary to the global-spec model's aluminium chassis and swingarm. A 37mm telescopic front fork (with 220mm travel) and a link-type rear monoshock (with 223mm travel) make up the suspension setup.
