Mahindra XEV 9S Teased:  The teaser train continues for the upcoming 7-seat Mahindra XEV 9S electric SUV. The Indian automotive manufacturer earlier released a teaser confirming the Boss Mode function and reclining second-row seats, and now we get a sneak peek at another showing the electric SUV's front and rear storage room. 

Mahindra XEV 9S Teaser Details

Apart from a frunk, or under-the-hood storage compartment, the latest teaser video showcases a boot shot of the XEV 9S SUV, indicating that the upcoming XEV 9S EV will be available with ample storage space, both at the front and rear. The exact dimensions will be revealed in due course. Previous teasers shared have confirmed a panoramic sunroof, a triple-screen setup, a two-spoke steering wheel (with an illuminated logo), a powered driver's seat (with a memory function), a sliding second row, an electronic parking brake, and a Harman Kardon sound system. Exterior elements confirmed include vertically stacked headlamps, a connecting LED light bar, aero wheels, flush door handles, and connected LED taillamps.

Mahindra XEV 9S: What to Expect?

Convenience and safety features, such as dual-zone climate control, powered and ventilated front seats, Dolby Atmos, ambient lighting, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and a Level 2 ADAS suite, are on the cards. 

Underneath the exterior, the INGLO platform-based XEV 9S is expected to pack the same battery options as the other two electric SUVs: 59kWh and 79kWh, rated at 656km and 542km, respectively. Both are MIDC figures. An all-wheel-drive powertrain setup is likely to be added at a later stage. Mahindra could target a price range of Rs 20 lakh-Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
