Mahindra XEV 9S Interior Teased Ahead Of Global Debut, Shows Tri-Screen Setup, Two-Spoke Steering Wheel And More

Mahindra XEV 9S SUV Teased: Mahindra has released another teaser of the upcoming XEV 9S electric SUV, which is scheduled to make its global debut on November 27 at the brand's 'Scream Electric' event in Bengaluru. Following the earlier preview of the SUV's exterior design, we now have an idea of some of the features that the XEV 9S will be offered with. Let's take a closer look at what the teaser reveals: 

Mahindra XEV 9S Teaser Details

Mahindra has confirmed through the teaser that the XEV 9S will be equipped with a tri-screen setup similar to the one in the XEV 9e. The tri-screen setup in the XEV 9e comprises a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a passenger's display. Moreover, we also see a two-spoke steering wheel with an 'Infinity' logo, black-coloured seats (with grey inserts), and a new drive selector. The middle-row seats can be slid back and forth; whether they are reclinable remains to be seen. 

Expected bits include dual-zone climate control, powered and ventilated front seats, Dolby Atmos, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS.

Mahindra XEV 9S: Battery Specs

The Mahindra XEV 9S will feature the modular INGLO platform that underpins the BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs. Mahindra has yet to reveal the battery capacity and range output of its upcoming EV, but the model is expected to offer the same battery configurations as the XEV 9e. For reference, the XEV 9e is available with 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, returning 656km and 542km, respectively. Both are MIDC figures. An all-wheel-drive powertrain setup is likely to be added at a later stage.
