Mahindra XEV 9S Launch:  Mahindra XEV 9S is all set to be launched on November 27, 2025, in India. The brand has been heavily teasing its upcoming 7-seater electric SUV, and a new teaser has been shared in the same series. The new teaser reveals two new features from the cabin of the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain of the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S here.

Mahindra XEV 9S: New Teaser & Features

The new teaser shared by the brand reveals that the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S electric SUV will feature reclining rear seats for the enhanced comfort of the passengers. It also reveals that the XEV 9S will feature the boss mode to provide extra legroom to the second row passengers. In addition to these features, the XEV 9S is also expected to feature powered and ventilated seats, a triple-screen setup, a two-spoke steering wheel, a new drive selector, a dual-zone climate system, ambient lighting, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

Mahindra XEV 9S: Expected Design

The upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S is expected to feature a light bar at the front, which runs along the length of the bonnet. It also gets vertically placed LED light bars at the front, which look very similar to the XUV.e8 concept. The upcoming XEV 9S will also feature a shark-fin antenna, rear wiper, connected taillamps, body-coloured ORVMs, sleek LED DRLs, flush door handles, aero alloy wheels, black roof rails, and fog lamps.

Mahindra XEV 9S: Battery & Range

The brand has not yet revealed the battery capacity and range output of its upcoming EV, but the XEV 9S is expected to carry forward the same battery configurations as the XEV 9e. The XEV 9e is available with options of two battery packs: 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, with a claimed range of 656km and 542km, respectively. An all-wheel-drive powertrain setup is likely to be added at a later stage for the 7-seater electric SUV.
