Mahindra is gearing up to launch the facelift of the XUV300 by the first half of 2024. Before its launch, the Mahindra XUV300 has been spotted testing and spy shots of the sub-compact SUV have surfaced online. After the launch of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift, it will continue to rival competitors like Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Kia Sonet.
Mahindra XUV300 - Design
Talking about the exterior design of the XUV300 facelift, it is expected that the SUV will exhibit Mahindra's BE-inspired design and will closely resemble the XUV700, featuring a distinct four-sectioned nose, vertically positioned headlamp cluster, LED DRLs, a piano black panel adorned with the prominent Mahindra "twin peaks" logo and a horizontal "air inlet" and a character line splitting the bumper into two parts. It gets a completely redesigned tailgate and a full-width LED light bar, with expected C-shaped LED tail lights.
Mahindra XUV300 - Interior
Recent spy shots of the Mahindra XUV300 reveal a new touchscreen infotainment system within the interior, however, base level models are likely to retain the existing 7.0-inch screen, while top-spec variants will receive a new 10-inch touchscreen resembling the upcoming Thar 5-door SUV. The screen features dedicated buttons for functions like volume control. Additionally, the facelifted XUV300 may introduce a full-digital instrument cluster.
Mahindra XUV300 - Powertrain
The Mahindra XUV300 will continue to retain the same powertrain setup, complying with the BS6 Stage II emissions norms. The current-gen XUV300 comes equipped with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that is tuned to generate a power output of 110 bhp and 131 bhp. A 1.5-litre diesel engine is also offered with the XUV300 that generates a total of 117 bhp.
