Mahindra XUV3XO vs Hyundai Venue: India's renowned automobile manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, recently unveiled its latest offering. The Mahindra XUV3XO has been launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mahindra XUV3XO enters the competitive sub-compact SUV segment, where it faces tough competition from established rivals like Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. While we've already compared the new Mahindra XUV3XO with Tata Nexon and Kia Sonet, let's take a closer look at how it fares against the Hyundai Venue.

Mahindra XUV3XO

Price - The Mahindra XUV3XO has hit the market with prices starting from Rs 7.49 lakh and going up to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Engine - The XUV3XO is available with three engine choices - a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.2-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine. These engines generate power outputs of 110 bhp, 117 bhp and 130 bhp, respectively.

Features - The Mahindra XUV3XO comes packed with a range of features, including a 10.2-inch free-standing infotainment system, a 10.2-inch digital console, AdrenoX linked car technology, remote dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, level 2 ADAS technology for enhanced safety, a segment-first panoramic sunroof, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon setup, and a 360-degree view camera.

Hyundai Venue 

Price - Hyundai Venue is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom).

Engine - Hyundai Venue is available with three engine options - a 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 1-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. All three engines generate a power output of 83 bhp, 120 bhp and 116 bhp, respectively. Transmission options vary as per your engine choices, options include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. 

Features - Talking about the features onboard the Hyundai Venue, it gets an 8-inch touchscreen with connected car tech supporting Alexa and Google voice assistants, an 8-inch semi-digital driver's display, air purifier, automatic AC, cooled glovebox, push-button start/stop, 4-way powered driver's seat, a sunroof and wireless phone charging.

In summary, both the SUVs are priced similarly with the XUV3XO’s top model priced slightly higher than the Hyundai Venue. However, the Mahindra XUV3XO boasts enhanced performance in terms of engine when compared to the Venue sub-compact SUV.
