The upcoming models are likely to be named EC L, EC L (O), EC LL, EL LL (O), EL LH, EL LH (O), EL PH and EL PH (O). Three battery pack options will be offered - a 39.4kWh unit providing 456 km range, a 34.43kWh battery with a range of 402 km and a 39.4kWh battery with different cells offering a range of 444 km. Despite these changes, the power output for all variants remains steady at 150 bhp, with torque at 310 Nm. It's uncertain if there will be any other mechanical modifications or new features added.
Mahindra XUV400 is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra had announced that the electric XUV400 would not see price reductions, mirroring decisions made by competitors. Instead, a minor price increase is expected after May 31, 2024. The Mahindra XUV400 EV directly competes with the Tata Nexon EV and faces competition from the MG ZS EV in a higher segment.
